SPEAKER_02

Hello, Tom.

SPEAKER_03

Oh god.

SPEAKER_01

I remember my son would fart and it would scare him and he'd just start crying. And then he was laying in his crib. And he just ripped like a dude fart. And he just goes, woo!

SPEAKER_00

My son gets pretty proud of his farts. He does the thing, we're like, hey, hey, listen. Giggle. And it'd be like the only one laughing at himself.

SPEAKER_02

Last night we were wrestling around, and my son and my daughter jumped on top of me while I was laying on the ground. And then while we're sitting there, you know, you feel, I can I can feel it like on my back. And my daughter was like, ew! She goes, Dad! I was like, that wasn't me. And my son just burst out laughing.

SPEAKER_01

He's Martu. You are my dad now.

SPEAKER_02

Well, it's funny is turned around and go, I booted on you.

SPEAKER_01

I was feeding the boy, and I had to give him gas drops and he's kind of backed up and he started farting, but he sounded like a Model T Ford, like uttering my arm was vibrating, and he's just like looking at me like it's and I'm like, stop it. And I start going like in his face, and he's just like joining us.

SPEAKER_00

Hey there, listeners. Welcome to Entertain This, a podcast about movies, TV shows, and video games. And whatever we get, whatever, whatever else we're talking about at that moment. My name is Hayden with me. I've Mitch and Todd. Hello. Today we're discussing stuff that we've seen andor played. Yep. Kinda. I guess I'll go first.

SPEAKER_02

Well, I was told that we can't talk about the boys.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

No, I I've only seen the first two episodes of the new season.

SPEAKER_00

I'm not allowed. I've been I got army friends, we're all going to a cabin. Friend with death. They they swore made to like not discuss anything boys related so we can watch it all fresh the whole season. So yeah. So if you're tuning in. So, anyways, this person Yeah I know.

SPEAKER_01

Just ruin it for hate. Yeah. And me. Screw you.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Oh well, yeah, I guess so. Yeah, because this was the third episode. Oh. I don't even know what's out right now. I don't I don't know if it's four episodes out now. I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know. I gotta watch when I get home. Because they come out on Wednesdays now, right?

SPEAKER_00

I watched a show that was not the boys. I watched a show.

SPEAKER_01

He's like moving on.

SPEAKER_00

I finally watched The Wire. Have you guys ever seen The Wire? No. I think you would like the show, Tom.

SPEAKER_01

Was that the one with uh Omar's coming?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Okay. I've seen like those like clips. Yeah. So The Wire is a 2002 to 2008 show, and it's basically like uh at the time, the first season, uh a a group of different kind of detectives in the Baltimore police department get together and try to figure out how to wiretap uh a bunch of gangers, gangbangers that use pagers. And that's kind of like the I guess like the the the main theme of of the show is like doing real uh technological investigations that match as the technology updates, like the first season's pagers, the second season's cell phones, and so on and so forth. Um you know, uh so like how they get a court order and uh you know, all these other reasons, it's easier to get a court order for uh like a wiretap than it would be to like you know, I don't know, uh search a person's house or something like that.

SPEAKER_01

At the time then it was now it's it's a lot harder.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and at one point like it gets to the uh the show technology advances so much that they're like basically hacking a person's computer without consent and they because there's no law for it yet. Yeah, so it's the wild west. Yeah, you know. Uh what are we doing? Making case law. But the that's that's kind of like the main theme, if that, and I wouldn't even call it because it's more about like the different dichotomy that makes up C D Boston, which is or I'm sorry, Baltimore, which is um Baltimore. Yeah, you got the the gangbangers, they call them the Yos. I don't know if that's offensive or not. I don't even know. It probably is, but uh Gam! Yeah, then you got the cops, and then you got like the different echelons of cops, like you have the executive command staff that's playing politics with like the mayoral mayoral staff and whatnot, and they're getting pressure from above to get good data, and then the people like Lance Reddick is in this um he's like the concierge guy from the John Wick movies. Yeah, he he's like the lieutenant that's over this like makeshift group that gets disbanded every season that comes back. But uh they uh they he he's like really like lawful good, like he he everything by the book at his own detriment. And uh so he they want him to give him good stats and good data, and he he refuses to cook the stats, he gives him clean data all the time, and you know that that shoots him in the foot, uh, as far as like getting promotions and whatever. Then you have uh uh McNulty, uh who's played by Dominic uh Toretta. No Dominic West. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know what I'm talking about. If you saw a picture of him, you'd be like, oh, that's that guy that's in those movies and stuff. Oh, yeah, that guy. That's like the jerk senator in 300. Yep. Oh that's him. Yeah, he's also like the love interest and miscongeniality and a bunch of other things. Anyways, so he McNulty is he's basically like chaotic good, maybe even like chaotic neutral. He just it doesn't even matter if what he's doing is illegal. He wants to catch the bad guy. He's like once the he's got the scent of the guy that he has to get, he's uh off the leash. By all means necessary, he will break whatever law, he'll screw up other investigations and do whatever it takes, you know. Um, and then like to see how those characters kind of arc over the show is pretty interesting. What they will abide by, what they won't, what they break the rules for. And you have like the whole legal side, like the court circuit, and how they just make deals, like you'll go through all these work to to get a a very nice clean arrest, and then the court circuit, uh the district attorney will like uh use that guy as a piece of a bigger investigation and give him a lighter sentence or let him off. So that they can they can like get data or get the guy to be a witness or whatever. Um and then you have like some other things that kind of creep in. Like you have uh the the main thing is uh the the gangbangers do uh heroin distribution on corners and these like uh I I I I would call it like Skid Row, but it uh they call it something else. I think they just call it the streets, but it's like these uh the project, you know, uh shadier aspect of Baltimore.

SPEAKER_01

And the ghetto. Yeah. Pretty much the ghetto. And his mama cray.

SPEAKER_00

And so like the suppliers come in through a uh the port in Baltimore, and you're led to believe that they're Russian, but they probably they call the main dude the Greek. So I don't really know who they are or whether but like that's a whole character, you know, side story. And then like the uh the Baltimore port people are also in on it. Everybody's in on everything, yeah, right? Um, but how they all interact and coalesce with each other as the show goes on, you know, while people are still trying to make good arrests, you know, that will hold up in court and whatnot. It's uh it's a fascinating show. And as far as like legal, like per police procedural dramas, one of the best ones. I would highly recommend it. Um it's very much an HBO show, so like just every 15 minutes you get boobs. Yeah, there's lots of sex and stuff, but it's also like just like over the top desk, like very realistic kind of stuff. When people die, you're like, whoa! I did not see that happening, you know. Um, but it's also like the the plot protection that characters have is like real. Like the gangbangers know to not mess with the cops because they don't want like you know the FBI and stuff sniffing around them and whatnot. Um yeah, the FBI is a whole nother side plot. That this is right after 9-11, so they're all focused on terrorism, they don't care about drugs anymore. So but they logically, right? That was last season, the new season, terror. So, like like they they the Baltimore Police Department has like zero technology when it comes to getting stuff. So they'd like hodgepodge or steal or find things like they lie to the FBI to get uh stuff that they need to get. So it's a it's a really good show and how uh how how the story unfolds. It's really well written, and uh yeah, I I would I would definitely recommend it. Um, you know, very much an adult show if if watching how people get killed and stuff, uh Idris Elba's in it for a while.

SPEAKER_01

That's where we because nobody believed he was English, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

That dude, yeah, and it's a very young Idris Elba too. Um, but yeah, well yeah, Dominic West is British also. It's funny, there's a bit where like he's gonna go undercover, so he he pretends to be this like traveling salesman from England, and he's got like the most terrible English accent ever. And I'm like, isn't this dude British? And I Google it. He is, so he's just like hamming it up for the character. Yeah, so it's uh it's really well done. Um it it it ends in in a way that is an ending. I'll say that. Uh a lot of people don't like the ending, it ends in an ending. It's definitely uh like they don't leave it over. Like the Sopranos ending? No, no, it's not a Sopranos ending, it's a solid ending. You know exactly what's gonna happen to all the characters and whatever that's going on. Uh a lot of people didn't like it. I I favored it. I thought that it was closure as opposed to just like you know, maybe there'll be another season, maybe not. It's like, nope. Yep, it was it was it. That was it. So uh yeah, I highly recommend it. Uh I I think you guys would love it. Um I I I binged this show uh all five seasons. Was it five seasons? Yeah, it was five seasons HBO. Okay and uh I think like each season's like 12 episodes, and they're all like hour long. So I probably watched it two weeks. Yeah. So alright, well, uh there's my show.

SPEAKER_01

Me and the wife are Benjamin's show right now. Who it? Mad Men. Oh yeah. Never watched it. I it took him it took a couple episodes to really kind of that's the one with uh John Hammond. Yeah, with John Ham, the the show that they made John Ham, John Ham. Yeah, where it's about ad men on Madison Avenue or mad men. Yeah, it's like it starts in like 1959 because like part of like their campaign like they're doing is like for the Nixon campaign. So you get like as they're going through like the 19 the early 1960s because I think the show ends at like 1970. Oh, okay. So, you know, the changing, you know, direction of America, fashion stuff, like cult, you know, important cultural events or current events for them. Like we just got to like the Cuban Missile Crisis.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah. Yeah, I know it's got a lot of uh like actors that you would recognize that started in it. Uh Christina Hendricks. Yeah. Yeah, and she was from Firefly that's where I know her from. And was uh um January Jones?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, who plays well, what's her face? Emma Frost in X-Men.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Oh, in the movie? Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Uh John Slattery. Because he plays uh Tony Stark's dad. He plays Howard Stark. Oh yeah, that's right.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And he still looks old, and this is like 2006, but it's just because he has like silver hair.

SPEAKER_02

Well in the Marvel movies, he was what, 2012 or something like that? Yeah, something like that. That wasn't too long, too much out of place now.

SPEAKER_01

It's good, and some of the stuff that happens is just like wild for the times, but a lot of the a lot of what makes it fun to watch is me and my wife are sitting there and like I just start making jokes because it's like one of the ad guys like comes home and it's just like you know, the perfect wife, like everything like dinner's made, and they just start like having like a conniption about something, and I'm just like there she went, like thinking it's like look, or having an opinion, what she had of mine was 1961.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I don't think me and my wife could watch that show.

SPEAKER_01

It is pretty because like we were sitting there watching, my wife's like, how does he get away with cheating on his wife so much with so many people? It's just like, well, there's no like Facebook to like just like rap dudes out, and it's just like they're coming up with like it's like bank account campaigns, yeah, for like ads, it's just like for like the executive account for a guy who's got stuff going on for leisure, and it's like your wife can't touch it. Like, not even if she got divorced you, she could get this.

SPEAKER_00

Wow.

SPEAKER_01

So like it's just like all like the CD crap and like them and their secretaries, and they're all like terrible to women, yeah, for the most part. Because like they get like a new secretary girl, and all like the dudes like in the office are just like, hey, it's like I got tickets to the Mets. Cool. Yeah. I now I kind of wish I watched it when it was out.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I might give it a try one day, but I got a backlog. I finally got to the wire. There's other shows I want to watch too.

SPEAKER_01

Because once you get to the now we're at the park because he John Ham's character, Don Draper, he's that's not his real name. He's it's an assumed identity. Because he was in the Korean War and he was like a private and he was like dirt poor, and it was just like him and his like lieutenant who's an engineer named Don Draper. Oh, yeah. He gets killed in like an explosion and like maimed like physically, and like he just switched dog tags with him. Nice, and then just kind of like rode out like being him, and like you know, they're just like his like college education stuff, like he gets like all that stuff, so now he has like credentials and he starts getting like way better jobs, like abandons his family. It's like his brother comes looking for him and finds him. You're not my brother, and he's like he basically has to like he like buys them off. He's like, Here's like five thousand dollars, which was like fifteen grand. Yeah, and he's like, You're not gonna see me again, right? He's like, You gotta go. He's like, You he's like, You're not gonna ruin my life now. Because like one, like the jerk underling dude, like you just want to punch him in the face every time he's on camera because he's just such a whiny little snob kid. And like he he figures it out because he's like sitting in his office and they bring a package for him. It's from his brother, and it's old photos. Yeah, so he figures out that Draper's lying lying about who he is, and they go to like their boss who's like into like Japanese like culture and stuff, and like every all of them like they go to like through the door and they're like arguing as they're walking, and they're like they all stop and start taking off their shoes to walk into his office because he doesn't let anybody wear them. And there's like one girl coming, he's like, What are you doing? Take his shoes off. It's like you'll know. It's like they go into the office and he tells him and he just looks at him like he's like reading something, he just goes, Who cares? He's like, you know who he is right now in this office? He's Don Draper. Now get out. He's like, just keeps going, and like John Hamm just like looks at him because he thought he's about to have his life ruined, and he's just like, Yeah, get out. You it's on HBO. I think they did seven seasons. Yeah, I think six or seven seasons. I went forever. I remember that show is huge, but I can see why. There's the episodes, some of them are kind of like a little out there, but a lot of it's like he goes to like Los Angeles and kind of like like the starts of like hippie culture. Yeah, he kind of like gets he just like goes off with some girl, and it's just like that weird, like live free lifestyle stuff. He's just like he's coming back and forth, his wife's mad, and then she's pregnant, but she's also smoking and drinking, and it's just like you know, you what you need is to relax, and they're like give her a cigarette, and it's like she's pregnant. It's like, what are you people doing?

SPEAKER_00

I I I know a bunch of people that have like hung out with John Hamm, and they they said that he's like one of the coolest people that you could meet. He's uh he's a really like not a douchey actor, so yeah. All right, what do you got?

SPEAKER_02

Well, I haven't really watched anything completely. I watched some of the boys, I've watched some of Daredevil, I've watched some of Shadow uh Maul Shadow Lord, and I haven't watched really enough of them to talk about any of them. There's some interesting stuff that's in Daredevil that I feel like it's it's gonna tie into the Punisher One Last Kill in the Spider-Man movie.

SPEAKER_00

I watched uh up to this recording, all the pun uh all the Daredevil episodes. I forget that that's in the MCU.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, because the only thing you get is him being Spider-Man's attorney.

SPEAKER_02

Well, because uh really he he never they never really crossed over until Spider-Man No Way Home, where he shows up as Peter Parker's attorney.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. He has a great cameo though, because like they throw the brick through the window and he catches it. Yeah, he's like, How'd you say I'm a great lawyer? And he just like sets it down.

SPEAKER_00

But like all these world-ending events are happening in Daredevil and all these New York heroes are nowhere to be found. Right. That's what bothers me about these shows, you know, is like you you can't have it both ways.

SPEAKER_02

For Daredevil, they're not really world-ending. I mean, they're the biggest like threat was the ninjas, and that's gonna be because they're ninjas, it's gonna be kind of like.

SPEAKER_00

You're telling me like this corrupt police agency that's subducting people off the streets, like Spider-Man wouldn't do something about that.

SPEAKER_02

Well, I mean, what can he do unless he's gonna be I mean, because they're not necessarily taking people that aren't bad guys, but they're there's a big meaning of Avengers Tower, they're sitting there watching the ninjas.

SPEAKER_00

Taking like women and stuff that like try to stop them from arresting their husbands, and then they're blowing up immigrants. I it's a they're exaggerating. It's a shameless, you know, analogy for the current situation. They're they're playing into politics, which but regardless, you know, it Where could we have gotten this from? Yeah, if we're if we're separating it from reality, like it's it's a ridiculous storyline that we're just supposed to just roll, you know, ignore it.

SPEAKER_02

But also at this time in the MCU, this is the time where Spider-Man has gone back to the basics where he's gonna he doesn't have all the stuff anymore either. So I mean you see Frank Castle and he's gotta love it. In the new trailer for the Spider-Man movie. I think from I don't know the plot to the movie, but somebody said they theorized that Spider-Man is there, there's stuff in the trailer. Because we can just go ahead and skip to that. There's stuff in the trailer that kind of leads to one of the uh animated TV series uh storylines where he starts to mutate into a spider.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, where he grows the the next two arms.

SPEAKER_02

Well, they somebody theorized that that's gonna start happening. Frank has to stop him, and then once he turns into the uh actual monster, that's when uh Bruce Banner becomes like the gray Hulk, and they have to stop him. And then another person theorized that just Jimmy Hulk's well it's just it's just the Hulk, but he's gray. But uh real gray and then they ran out of the color green. Another one theorized because in the trailer you see him like sound really bothers him, his eyes turn black, and then they said that some of his mannerisms match Tom Hardy when he was venom because in the No Way Home, part of the Venom symbiote like was left on the table after Tom Hardy went back. Yeah. So I'm sure that'll play in a somehow, which would be pretty interesting, I think.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I feel like they have they just set up so much tie-in that they're like, oh wait, what who can we shoe into this? Like, how can we get this person?

SPEAKER_00

The MCU's a mess. It is.

SPEAKER_01

Uh I I phase one was their glory run. No, phase three at the end of uh phase uh phase one was good, phase two was meh. Yeah. But phase three with you know infinity war.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that's where they cashed out, that's where they made a lot of money. But now they're trying to keep that that money train going with all these like you know local offshoot tie-in small shows that most of them didn't work, right? And then uh like what's the new one? Um Mr. Tremendous or whatever is Oh oh, Wonder Man.

SPEAKER_02

Wonder Man, yeah. It was boring.

SPEAKER_00

Uh I everybody's like, oh, it's the best, but it was I heard not good things about it, and I don't know if they're gonna come back for a second season. And all these other like Moon Knight that failed, She-Hulk. Which I I enjoyed Moon Knight. It is alright. I didn't like She-Hulk, I didn't like Wonder Man.

SPEAKER_02

But I love Daredevil.

SPEAKER_00

They gotta figure out what they're gonna do with this mess of a plot line they got going on. And I I like honestly, if this whole uh Doomsday thing that's happening, they can figure out a way to just cut off all these offshooting plots.

SPEAKER_02

That's that's the whole Doomsday storyline if they follow what the comics was similar to, is all these different realities and plots stuff, all they all coincide with this, and then after this event, it's like a restart where that's why they'll recast new people and it'll be like basically Rickcons and starts the world over.

SPEAKER_01

DC just needs to do Crisis on Infinite Earth.

SPEAKER_02

And they they got a why a ways to build for that.

SPEAKER_01

To build for that. See, why even build? Just do the movie.

SPEAKER_02

Live action, just do the movie.

SPEAKER_01

Well, that's the whole the fun part.

SPEAKER_00

I don't know. Cast the whole Justice League.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know. I haven't seen the I've seen like a little bit of the trailer, but I I did see somebody was complaining that like, oh well, she she she shouldn't be having to fight all those people. She's super girl, she should be beating them up. But the I was watching the guy explain that part of the trailer. He's like, well, they're not in front of the yellow sun, so she's not gonna be as strong as she normally would be.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

But uh I did see where uh I want to say it was like IGN or something like that, was talking about how Disney actually laid off uh the entire Marvel visual team. Really? Yeah. So I don't know what what what what constitutes a visual team? V FX team? So okay.

SPEAKER_01

Well that good because the the last they've been dropping the ball complaints and you're gonna hear them.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, the last few movies were bad. You can't blame them, okay? You really can't blame the VFX team.

SPEAKER_02

You look they had one where it was like a 2D image of a kid's face.

SPEAKER_00

Yes, but whatever whatever gets output, whatever the audiences see, it's not the VFX team, it's the producers that just sign off on it. I agree with that.

SPEAKER_01

And and and two And like yeah, it looks like money.

SPEAKER_00

Two, if you give like like I don't know, like the Avatar movies, right? They they petabytes of data. Well, yeah, right?

SPEAKER_01

Like you just got James Cameron probably just sitting there.

SPEAKER_00

But he he works on these things for like four to five years. Disney cranks out a new basically 100% CG movie, yeah, like within an eight-month window. So of course they're gonna cut corners just to ship it, they're gonna get it out as fast as possible. It's not about quality, yeah. So, and they're you know, they're they're learning their lesson. Hopefully, uh, I hate it for those VFX guys, but I don't know, they're gonna outsource it to China or something like that.

SPEAKER_02

Well, I didn't really get up to watch or play a whole bunch. Um, I do have a lot of news and reviews though. Like uh for Lord of the Rings, the Hunt for Gollum. Did you see where they announced who's gonna be Strider or Aragorn?

SPEAKER_01

No, go ahead and tell me.

SPEAKER_02

Uh Jamie Dornen. He actually looks like a younger version of him.

SPEAKER_01

Uh let's see. I I can picture the face. It would be funny if they casted um Stuart Townsend, the guy he was supposed to play. He's pushing 52.

SPEAKER_02

Like this guy right here. Oh, that guy? Yeah, Jamie Dornan is his name.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, he's um you know, discount uh Vigo Mortenson. No, I was gonna say uh he looks kind of like um uh uh Etsy version of uh Henry Cavill. Henry Cavill, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I know. Um there's the if you watch the Evil Dead movies, they've announced two. They got Evil Dead uh Born or Burn coming out in 2026 and then Evil Dead Wrath in 2027.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I don't know what's now they're doing like what Halloween did. I guess like Halloween kills and like Halloween ends or something, where they did back-to-back releases.

SPEAKER_00

I I saw the one new Evil Dead and I was like, nah, it's okay. Yeah, and then everything after that I've just I haven't cared about. Bruce Campbell's still on him?

SPEAKER_02

Uh no. He actually he's got like turn Yeah, he's dying. Terminal cancer. Oh stage stage four something, but that's not what it was. Yeah. Um Godzilla minus zero. They said it's gonna be uh two years after the original movie. It's gonna be an IMAX, and then the actual it's like Godzilla coming to New York.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, what the the Japanese Godzilla, okay.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's just gonna be a sequel to uh Godzilla minus one.

SPEAKER_00

There's also a Godzilla X Kong Supernova Supernova I I watched the the Monarch show and I'm just like uh at this point. It's so off the rails.

SPEAKER_02

I like the first Godzilla movie of the like 2013, and I like the monarch stuff, but uh the rest of the other movies I just not I liked the oh it's not two because which one's the one with uh Ghidorah three three that one was I like that one. Yeah, that one's King of the Monsters. That one wasn't bad.

SPEAKER_01

But I like the first one because I mean it wasn't great.

SPEAKER_00

It was the Gareth Edward one, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But it was like it gave you some sad because they didn't do like the whole oh Godzilla immediately. It's like they kind of built them up and like it was kind of like jaws, like you get a buildup of Godzilla, like where the paratroopers are going down, like you haven't even seen full Godzilla yet, yeah. And they're like going past like his thigh for like five minutes, and it's like, man, this Godzilla's huge, and then and plus when he kills the Mewtwo thing, oh yeah, yeah, where he grabs it and like you just see his tail start to light up as he's like grabbing his jaws, and I'm like, no, he's gonna do it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, he's like uh they uh there's an announcement for Game of Thrones, they're gonna have Aegon's Quest or Conquest as it's a movie, it's a theatrical movie, right? Yeah, and uh and I want to see uh somebody else was talking about this online, but I want to see that the giant, what's the giant dragon?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, Blackwing or something.

SPEAKER_01

No, it was something like the black dread, yeah, is what he was called. It was like the size of a mountain, yeah. Yeah, I want to see that on a full which is a ripoff of Lord of the Rings and then Caligon the Black. They're like when that dragon went down, he took out three mountains. It's like, damn, it's a big guy.

SPEAKER_02

Uh let's see, they announced huge. Gremlins 3 comes out November 19th of 2027. Gremlins 3. Uh, with Christopher Columbus directing. No way.

SPEAKER_00

They got Christopher Columbus back for this.

SPEAKER_02

They said he's directing, and Spielberg's gonna be the producer. Wow.

SPEAKER_00

I have a little bit of hope for that.

SPEAKER_02

We'll see.

SPEAKER_00

It's gonna be CG. All the corny puppets are gone. They're the one flat going, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Uh see, there's gonna be Fokker in Law coming out November 26 with De Niro, Stiller, and Owen Wilson.

SPEAKER_00

They're all coming back, huh?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. De Niro's like, he's he's up there. Uh they said there's gonna be an Insidia 6 coming out where like uh there was a small snippet that I saw, but like basically all the old monsters, like the main ones, pop back up like ghosts, but not in the dream world now.

SPEAKER_00

I thought the last one was supposed to be the last one. I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

It was confusing. Uh there's gonna be a sequel or sorry, a prequel to uh weapons called Gladys.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I saw that where it's like her origin story.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it'll come out in uh uh 2028.

SPEAKER_00

That actor that plays uh Gladys uh is interesting. She like was Oscar nominated back in the 80s and then just fell off of acting and then got back for this movie and then just like nailed it. She got an Oscar for best supporting actress. I just didn't like the movie that much. I thought it was good. I thought it was fine. It was alright.

SPEAKER_02

It was weird, but it was yeah, you know, I thought it was good. Uh there's gonna be another uh Revenge of Lorna. I don't know if that's a sequel to the other one, the uh like Conjuring Universe one they had. Yeah, I didn't really say. Um I saw on Gamescom said that Xbox is considering returning to exclusives again. Already? Yeah, probably didn't go well when they gave away all their stuff.

SPEAKER_00

Because Phil Spencer is no longer the president anymore. They got this lady who's like specialized in AI. She came from an AI background, and uh, you know, she she had she's very young, she's like in her early 30s, and like everybody was kind of crapping on her because AI and a girl and young and whatever. But she had like a had her announcement, and I I listened to her speech and she said all the right stuff. She's not there to like replace stuff and change things, just they just want to focus on quality games and uh you know giving the gaming experience back to the gamer and not selling it piece by piece and stuff like that, which is the right thing to say in today's economy.

SPEAKER_02

Uh I saw uh Soldier Boy, they have a sequel planned for multiple seasons. I don't know if it's I say sequel, it's a spin-off, but I don't know if it's gonna be based off of like when he was first made or this is gonna be after the boys or what. But supposedly they have it planned for multiple seasons. Okay. Uh the never ending story is supposedly getting a live action series. I think it's gonna be on Netflix. Really? I mean nothing's happened other than they're trying they're planning to make it.

SPEAKER_00

So the only reason why the never ending story was good. Because it ended? Well, yeah. It was one the first one had very much like no plot. Yeah, it was just like weird, like cocaine-induced uh uh high fantasy stuff. I mean, basically it can just be any kind of fantasy you want, because it's there's there who knows what's in this world. And they would say weird things for juxtaposition and like the plot moving forward, and and you'd just be like, uh, okay. Ooh, scary wolfka thing, you know. Ooh, statues with boobies. RTAX died, so our tax died.

SPEAKER_02

Was it uh Grum? Creepy wolf.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Was it Grum or I can't remember? I don't know. It's been so long since I've seen that movie. Well then also Netflix is talking about trying to reboot Street Sharks. I don't I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

Don't they have somebody attached to that too?

SPEAKER_02

I I don't remember. Um it didn't say on this.

SPEAKER_00

I it was Batista, Dave Batista.

SPEAKER_02

According to the picture, I don't know if they're trying to do live action or animated. Would that be a weird live action?

SPEAKER_00

Maybe it wasn't Dave Batista, maybe it was um Jason Memoa. I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

You know, I did see part of a movie. And it was so bad I I had to get up and leave. Uh Thrash.

SPEAKER_02

I didn't watch it. Oh, that's the one about the sharks.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's like a hurricane, but sharks, you know, of course, make it into the small town. Okay. And they're just ripping people to pieces. It is the lamest movie.

SPEAKER_02

I don't know if you got to this part, but I haven't watched the whole movie. I just saw this clip that somebody put on Instagram where they're like, give her the Oscar now. Like as a joke. But she evidently she was pregnant. Yeah. She takes the pregnant baby, lays it on this floating door thing, gets this like piece of wood, cuts the umbilical cord, and then swims in front of the baby and stands there as a shark's coming in and like stabs the shark away.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Okay. It was funny. It was like it was like a punishment movie. Because the problem was they took it seriously. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Why, why, why is sharks just like automatically just trash movies now?

SPEAKER_01

I I that that like even if you had because they started out so strong, there was nowhere to go. Right.

SPEAKER_00

Even if you had like a very novel, great idea for a shark movie, like nobody would take seriously.

SPEAKER_01

Two good shark movies. Jaws, deep blue sea. That's it. Everything else sucks.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, pretty much. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

And then well, on a lower tier, but like halfway down like to plant you know, plummeting to earth is uh giant shark versus mega octopus. Or mega shark versus giant octopus. That was a classic film. No, yes, it's a great movie where the guy's on the plane, he looked he just like he's looking at the stewardess and he just spins to the window and he's like, holy and this shark is going through the air and bites the plane. I was like, this is the best movie I've ever watched. But yeah, she has the baby. Yeah, because she gets pinned in like a mini Cooper by a tree branch that like impales the car. And like this is when they figure out that there's sharks. Yeah. Because everybody's like, there's sharks like we're like in New Jersey, like, what are you doing? But like people are getting like annihilated by these things, and like the foster kids like watch their mom get like ripped apart and like dragged away behind a shed, like outside the house, just so she can pop up perfectly fine with like a nibble on her thigh and like against the glass stitch, it's like, quick, get to the door, and then sharks are like and just swarm in an annihilate her in front of the window, and blood's just going everywhere. And I'm like, You guys just did that for the children's, but they're having to play like the floor's lava.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Because the sharks make it into the first floor of the house.

SPEAKER_00

It's like Jumanji, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It was kind of like Jumanji, it was just so bad. Yeah. So don't watch it. I didn't plan on it. It was like an incidental punishment movie because we were at Rachel's parents' house and they were watching it, and I just sat down and I'm just sitting there leaning forward, like staring at this crap on screen. Like, why? This is stupid.

SPEAKER_02

Um, I did see their um officially making a Metal Gear solid movie. Really? They haven't done anything with it, but they've officially started, I guess, pre-production stuff, trying to get it you know worked out.

SPEAKER_00

See, they should have done that. Who would you cast as Snake Blisken?

SPEAKER_01

That's not that's like Kurt Russell's the only one I would think this character. Yeah. Uh oh, uh Clint Eastwood's son.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that would be Scotty's Scotty Swood.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

That's not bad.

SPEAKER_02

I don't think I don't think he would be bad. And as long as he's not doing like some kind of British accent, I don't think Carl Urban would be too far off from the look. He's old, uh there are some versions of Snake that are pretty old.

SPEAKER_00

Um I don't know. Somebody new. There's gonna be somebody newer, like the Dornen guy, not terrible. Yeah, you know. What about the Craven the Hunter guy? I can't stand him.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, I like all I like his character. Like, Craven's a bad movie, but I thought he did great as the character.

SPEAKER_00

By the way, I watched the The Bone Temple. Oh yeah. What in the world is going on with that franchise? Oh Nick!

SPEAKER_02

It's like what why where did this come from?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, what a weird twist to like take this 28 days later thing. But they got uh Killian Murphy's gonna be the next movie. They showed him in this one.

SPEAKER_02

So uh they did uh Sam Whitworth that played uh Starkiller as the voice of Darth Maul. Yeah. Supposedly he's teasing that uh Starkiller will return in a way.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Like, because he was telling people it's like, oh yeah, they they let me do it in live action, I'll totally shave my head, like today. And then he kind of I forgot what it was exactly he said, but he was doing some kind of interview and he was talking about how he he was kind of framing like it would be cool if Darth Maul runs into Starkiller throughout Shadow Lord, like he maybe does someone.

SPEAKER_00

Where is uh the Force Unleashed? Where does that take place in the right before New Hope? Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And this is uh Darth Maul, he'd come back right before A New Hope.

SPEAKER_00

So Sam Whitmore's supposed to be like, you know, 1819?

SPEAKER_02

Well, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But I mean this isn't animated, so it's yeah, but I mean they you're talking about live action though?

SPEAKER_02

I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

I don't well, because I don't know if he would just do a lot of the Force Some Leech 1 and 2 because of the plot.

SPEAKER_02

Well that I mean isn't a lot of that retcon now, but technically he's a clone, yeah. So yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I mean it'd be cool to do a of uh Anakin. No, he's a clone of himself in the second one. That's right. Because in the first one, it's like right at like the purge. Like the Empire Vader's Vader, he goes to Kashyyyk, he kills like the Jedi master, but he I guess he's like killing him, like he said, he's like, there's someone far more powerful. He's like, Where's your master? He's like, he's dead, like you killed him already. And then Vader's lightsaber gets ripped into this kid's hands because he like force pulled it, and the Vader's like, oh Storm Troops show up and be like, Alright, let's shoot this kid. And then Vader takes the lightsaber back, kills all the stormtroopers, and he's just like, You're gonna come with me. He's like, I'm gonna, he's like, I'm adopting you. Let's go. I mean, I'm your dad now.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I think it would be cool if they, even if he's not as powerful as he was as he was in the games, introduce him to like in the Ahsoka series in this like lost universe or lost galaxy that they found. Like the old version of the game.

SPEAKER_00

What happened at the end of Fortune 2? I forgot. He dies.

SPEAKER_02

Well, there's two endings to like I said, he's a clone, so they maybe another clone was.

SPEAKER_01

But it's because of him, like the it's because of him the rebellion starts.

SPEAKER_02

Somehow Palpatine returned. Yeah, don't worry about it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, somehow Palpatine, like three words ruined. Well, it was already ruined, Kathleen K. I just Star Wars with a chick in it, make it gay, make it lame.

SPEAKER_00

Star Wars is in such a bad spot right now. You know, I just I don't I don't care for it. I don't I really don't care about the MCU and stuff. You know what I watched, and I appreciate that a lot of people are crapping on. What was that? Super Mario Galaxy.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I heard that was really good.

SPEAKER_00

It was fine, you know. It was was it like flashing lights and ADD riddled, you know, you know fan service? Nonstop. Nonstop. But that's what I wanted out of it. It it was just fine enough for everybody to sit down and shut up and you know, gawk over Yoshi. Star Fox is in it. Guess who they who would you guess that they uh voice cast to play Star Fox? Jack Black. No, he's he's Bowser. He's Bowser.

SPEAKER_02

Somebody suave and endearing. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Tom Hardy.

SPEAKER_02

Glenn Powell.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, the most Star Fox voice out there. Yeah. And they they kind of alluded to the effect that they're gonna do a Star Fox movie.

SPEAKER_02

I saw something that they they're playing on that, because is Grey Fox in this?

SPEAKER_00

Grey Fox.

SPEAKER_02

I'm sorry, Grey Wolf.

SPEAKER_00

Is Grey Wolf and Star Fox Star Wolf? No. No, they mentioned him.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, because there's somebody that was saying that there's somebody that's gonna be the voice for him already. But I don't I can't remember what it was.

SPEAKER_00

I I do think that Nintendo is going to do an NCU where they have basically Smash Brothers the movie. Yeah, that'd be cool though. That would be cool. I'd watch that. I would totally be like shameless.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, do this do the Smash Brothers just like a Mortal Kombat tournament that only one can have the star.

SPEAKER_00

It'd be so awesome. I'd be down for it. But uh yeah, uh, other than that, like it was just you know, there was really not that much of a plot, you know. You go in with like expectations of like, okay, they're making a sequel to the Mario movie, they established all these characters. My limited understanding of Mario lore, which is a thing I thought I never would have to say, is uh is is that like they they encompassed all the Nintendo games thereabouts, right? Yeah, so maybe they're gonna do more Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64 stuff. Now, Mario Galaxy, we're in space with the space princess wizard lady and Star Fox, and yeah, they got the Star Fox, they got the the Painter Bowser guy, Painter Bowser. Yeah, Bowser Jr. Oh, you know, like those are games that I like are so new that I haven't even played them. So like this next Mario Kartha movie? Well, they did that at the first one.

SPEAKER_02

They did a Luigi's Mansion movie.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, that would be fun. That'd be a good one. They they kind of hinted at that too in the first movie, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

But yeah, it's it's so like Nintendo's just giggling right now in Japan. They're just like they don't even know they're making it, they don't even know what we're about to do next.

SPEAKER_00

It's Illumination is not my favorite animation studio because they are just so shameless with the jokes and like the the like oh you like this song? Here's some nostalgia. Drink that nostalgia, yeah. All you 90s kids. Yeah. So I I hope that like they have a completely different mindset for the Zelda movie. I don't know how the hell they're gonna pull off a live-action Zelda movie, but I hope it's a little bit more. Is it a movie or TV series? Okay. I hope that they tone it down, you know, not so flashy, crazy, hilarious stuff. It's it's kind of more of a serious like a Game of Thrones for kids. Game of high chairs.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Well, speaking of Game of Thrones, I saw uh Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, uh Peter Claffey. Little bald kid? No, the uh the knight, the tall dude, Duncan. Yeah, yeah, Duncan. Um supposedly he's like the the front runner to be Beast when they start doing the X-Men movies. Oh, okay. Like he hasn't been officially cast, but that's who they're like looking and want to have. Yeah. Which I think would be pretty cool. Because like a huge dude. Yeah, well, in real life, he's got like like long red hair and stuff, but I mean Beast is a big person.

SPEAKER_00

Isn't he like 6'10? I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

He's pushing seven feet. But I mean, yeah, beast is like these big hulking things. I think it's work.

SPEAKER_01

Because I mean a lot of it's gonna be like uh Yeah, because the last person who the last person who live actioned beast Kelsey Grammar. Yeah, Kelsey Grammar.

SPEAKER_02

But but I mean a lot of it's in the more recent cameo that Kelsey Grammar had, it was more CGI anyway. So I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

I hear you're quite an animal. Yeah. Who's talking? Uh go ahead.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, uh the they they they've already finished filming season two of Night of the Seven Kingdoms. Oh, I don't know. That or they're currently filming it. They the little bald kid uh they showed a video of him shaving his head again for doing the next season. Oh, hurry up because puberty's about to hit that kid. Yeah, well, it's only gonna be three seasons. So uh like that's kind of why I dig the show, because it's planned ending. It's not just like we'll we'll keep making it if you keep watching it kind of thing.

SPEAKER_01

And we like they eclipse the books, and it's just like all right, let's come up with something because we got people places.

SPEAKER_00

Right, and the other Game of Thrones show, that's on its last season, too. Okay. The uh House of the Dragon. Yeah, that one's gonna be. I don't even remember what happened in that right now. But then they're talking about the uh the sequel to the books see the like a show, like oh Jon Snow Strikes Again or something like that. I I I don't know. Jon Snow strikes back. Snow falls twice.

SPEAKER_01

That was a good one.

SPEAKER_02

Quick copyrighted before they take it. Another one I thought that you'll probably like is uh Legend of the White Dragon with uh with Jason David Frank. It's getting a uh like a national or international uh what do you call this release on August 28th of this month. Or sorry. August 28th of this year. What is that? It's it's uh JDF is Jason David Frank, he was the Green Ranger, all the Power Rangers. Him and the Bat in the Sun made a whole full like full-length movie that they it's kind of like uh a version of Power Rangers, but it's it's for adults where it's just I mean it's just this one standalone movie that he wanted to make a whole thing, but he he died before he even really got to finish this completely. But uh it it looks pretty pretty fun. Like if you're a fan of Power Rangers, I think you'll like this.

SPEAKER_01

But I think it'd be good if they do some more stuff with like with M M P R, you know, Forever and Always.

SPEAKER_00

MMPR F F A. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Because I don't like Forever and Always. Like it was fan service, yeah. But it was a lot the original Mighty Morphin Rangers. I mean, I like except for Jason. Yeah, he was dead. And um, like I like Zoo.

SPEAKER_02

I like Zio, I like Turbo, but I think the next one that would make sense would be digressing.

SPEAKER_01

Well, you twirl your mustache like a villain.

SPEAKER_02

In space would fit the best for another flight for the next one. That would be cool. Uh another thing I saw, The Witcher 1 is getting a a uh Unreal Engine 5 remake.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, uh they're doing remakes for the Witcher games. Uh they're doing a DLC for The Witcher 3 to bridge it another DLC to bridge it from uh Witcher 3 to Witcher 4, which comes out next year. Okay. So and then uh they uh I think in full production for Cyberpunk 2. So and all of that will come out before Grand Theft Auto Six.

SPEAKER_01

I was gonna say is Grand Theft Auto Six out yet?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Is it gonna come out in the twenty twenties or Grand Theft Auto Six?

SPEAKER_02

Probably not. Um still have the Wolverine game that comes out in September, which it looks pretty cool. It's made by the same people that made the Spider-Man PlayStation 5 games. Then you got did you ever watch the Jack Ryan Amazon series?

SPEAKER_00

I watched like the first season. I just couldn't buy John Krasinski as Ryan.

SPEAKER_01

I know, I know. I still picture like Alec Baldwin. I I still picture Harrison Ford.

SPEAKER_00

So he's my favorite version.

SPEAKER_02

I really like the TV series. And uh the they have the movie called Jack Ryan Ghost War comes out May 20th.

SPEAKER_00

Have you ever read those books? They're too long.

SPEAKER_01

No, Clancy books are so they're also like not good.

SPEAKER_00

Like, like no like the way he talks, the dude can digress into great detail about how the minutiae is too how a submarine works and all that stuff, right? And that's cool. But when it comes to like character exposition, it's just like blase. It's almost like he doesn't care about people. Yeah, he just wants to find a way to make a submarine be cool in a movie.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you know, like you know, he pulled out his HK MP5, you know, chambered in nine millimeter loops.

SPEAKER_00

Keeps it Soviet stock, you know, safety off.

SPEAKER_01

It's like all this juxtaposition about a gun, and then it's just like character dialogue is like three cells. Bill shoots Bill in face. Bill, no, they got Bill. So if you're gonna read any of the Clancy books, you gotta read the Reader's Digest versions where they gut like two-thirds of it, but you still get the entire plot.

SPEAKER_00

I just remember my dad had uh Hunt for Red October, which was basically a brick on a on a toilet, and uh I think he you know he only read it when he was pooping, but he probably read that thing for like four years, you know. Maybe he just read it over and over again. I might my dad's a diehard Tom Clancy fan, so you know I am eh he's alright. Oh, Mitch, what are you about to do?

SPEAKER_02

Well we have we have trivia that'll correspond with us when we go to our conquest event, uh, which if you're listening to this, it'll be this Saturday or Friday night in downtown Lordville. So I have a little bit of trivia. Okay, kind of give the people an idea of what our trivia competition, where you'll you'll win the championship belt, or you can come and join our raffle for undis describe prizes at this moment.

SPEAKER_00

Here's my buzzer. I don't know what it is. Buzzer.

SPEAKER_01

I hate you.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, it says Tom's gay. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

I was sitting up here on my on my stuff and I was bored watching TV. So it's like Bowser. Anyways, I was not gonna read all the questions that I have at the moment, because I have like 40 something. But just just a couple of examples of uh some of the questions that we'll be having. Like uh, what is the X-Men's codename?

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Phoenix.

SPEAKER_02

No.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Cerebro?

SPEAKER_02

No. And if you're listening now, when we do the trivia, it's probably best to let me finish the question.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, Tom.

SPEAKER_02

What is the X-Men codename for Scott Summers?

SPEAKER_00

Or Tom? Cyclops. Yes. Why don't you say his louder? I don't know. Because he meant it.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, let's see. Uh number seven on here is what green clad Batman villain leaves cryptic puzzles?

SPEAKER_01

The Riddler. I'm sorry, what is the Riddler?

SPEAKER_02

Uh let's see. What villain killed Superman in the 90s?

SPEAKER_00

Doomsday.

SPEAKER_02

I tried to make them a little easier, so maybe some of the kids would have.

SPEAKER_00

Is that in the 90s? Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Wow. Uh let's see. Who are the female Titans from Teen Titans and Teen Titan?

SPEAKER_00

Uh, you got Starfire, Raven. That's it. Yeah. Yeah. It's just those two. I only know the show.

SPEAKER_02

Well, that's what I mean.

SPEAKER_01

That one girl, Tara.

SPEAKER_02

Well, yeah, but she's not really in there, but for a few episodes. Uh, let's see. What's another Cassandra Kane and Barbara Gordon were both Batman?

SPEAKER_01

Batgirl.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. She was Batwoman.

SPEAKER_02

No. Cassandra Kane and uh Barbara Gordon are Batgirl. And what was it? Uh Kate something is Batwoman.

SPEAKER_01

Nah. Nah. That was a punishment.

SPEAKER_02

Kate Kane. Kate Kane.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Kate Cat.

SPEAKER_01

Nick Knight.

SPEAKER_02

Let's see. The next one is. The being Galactus has a herald named The Silver Surfer?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I thought we were waiting until he finishes the question.

SPEAKER_02

Shut up! You know what? Give the real name for Nightwing.

SPEAKER_00

Dick Grayson.

SPEAKER_02

Boom. Or Richard. Oh, let's see. Julio. What is the name of Thor's hammer?

SPEAKER_01

Mul near. Spell it.

SPEAKER_02

MJ.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, with the dots. Oh, with the umlauts. L N I R.

SPEAKER_02

I'll give you an extra point. What? Good job. Come on.

SPEAKER_01

I helped him with that.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_01

I can spell it.

SPEAKER_02

In Star Wars, what force moon was the home to Yes.

SPEAKER_00

What force moon? Uh that was uh Kashyyk? No. Aldraest moon of Endor. Endor, darn.

SPEAKER_02

Because if you if I finished, was the home to the Ewoks.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I I I get all the planet names.

SPEAKER_02

But I just wanted to read a couple of the questions because I have a bunch of them and I'm gonna make more. Well, who won? I went till y'all retired. You're equally knowledgeable.

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah? But you know who really is? Mitch. Mitch.

SPEAKER_02

I tried to get my brother to record it. He's like, no. I was like, alright, well.

SPEAKER_00

It'd be weird to hear somebody else's voice.

SPEAKER_02

Well, that's why I was I figured it would throw you off if you did.

SPEAKER_01

Because at first I didn't know it was you.

SPEAKER_02

Well, yeah, because I got some kind of cold or something, but either way.

SPEAKER_01

As you breathe on us and affect us. Well, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Thanks for that.

SPEAKER_02

I just want to share my presence with you, you know? Thanks. But, anyways, like I said, May 1st and 2nd, uh, we're gonna have our uh downtown Lawrenceful. They call it it used to be called Free Comic Book Day, and it's gonna be called Conquest now, because they want to turn into like a full convention kind of thing.

SPEAKER_01

So we have prizes.

We'll have prizes, we'll have raffle, we got our trivia competition.

SPEAKER_01

Do we know what time we're doing trivia?

SPEAKER_02

Uh I do.

SPEAKER_01

Do we have a better time?

SPEAKER_02

No.

SPEAKER_01

How late? Five.

SPEAKER_02

We're the last ones. Ah I I asked her about moving up to three, but she already had some other people planned, and unless we want to compete with like their other popular thing.

SPEAKER_01

Who, the LARPing people?

SPEAKER_02

No, it was some kind of I haven't been back since you. Wait, what did I do?

SPEAKER_01

You were the only one. At like the LARP conference. And you were like the only one in the audience, and you just spent it heckling them. I wasn't heckling him. And you're making fun of them for LARPing. A little bit.

SPEAKER_00

I felt bad for him.

SPEAKER_02

I did inquire about changing our time, but she said that they already had some other stuff scheduled around unless we wanted to compete with some another popular event, you know. Yeah. At least we get our own time on the big stage.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, each year our audience gets bigger and bigger. Um, so by all means come, you know, get some stuff that we got for you. Join our many, many listeners. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

And our souls are joining the legions of entertain this listeners.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, you talk bad about us, but we do have a lot of listeners. We do have a lot of listeners. Like, I mean, we we average a couple thousand a month. So growing. That's better than the 30 a month that we had to do originally. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Those are just people we knew.

SPEAKER_02

Or when I go back to try to edit things, yeah. I had to pull it back up and listen.

SPEAKER_00

We're growing. So yeah, looking forward to seeing you guys there. Um, we should find a way to do a for people who can't make it to the convention, we should try and find a way to make it somewhat interactive for them too. All right, you get on that. I will figure that out. I will. I will. If you have any ideas, hit us up on our social media. Maybe we'll give you a prize.

SPEAKER_02

Entertain this underscore. Because we didn't do it at the beginning of this episode.

SPEAKER_01

They're not gonna hit us up on social media. If they don't, then they won't get a prize. We tried giving out free prizes.

SPEAKER_00

Well, maybe now they'll listen. And nobody did it. That was before COVID. So true it was. It was. Yeah. All right. Well, that's it for me, Hayden. Goodbye, Mitch. In time. Goodbye.
